Thinking of you all. I wanted to drop you Sam and Liz a quick line to express my deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved Endicott. My son Jack new Endicott from Sydney University and I actually met him once very briefly myself dropping Jack into town one day. Endicott really left a marked impression on me with his confidence, firm handshake, eye contact and sensitivity. I often asked Jack about him. I think he really loved Australia and the love was clearly reciprocal. When it was thought to be Endicott who was lost at sea I prayed that he would be found safley and that he would appear somewhere with that cheeky smile firmly in tact. My friend Pastor played the organ at today’s vigil at college and he was really moved by the occasion and by the power Liz of your eulogy. I wished to be there myself.
